A series of three 3′ x 4′ x 5″ high ceramic books showcase donors in a piece that links modern Catholic education back to its medieval roots. Based on medieval manuscripts and Gregorian chant books, this work, including its stone base, ceramic “altar cloth” and wooden lectern was designed by Karen Singer as a site specific work of art. Donor names are still being added to the white page areas.
