While the Tileworks did not win the Martha Stewart American Made competition– the studio team is pleased to announce that they have been awarded the $10,000 Merchants Fund Grant! The Merchants Fund assists in the growth of small Philadelphia businesses with grant and loan opportunities.
Karen Singer Tileworks will be using the money to purchase a pugmill to reclaim over 3,000 lbs of dry unusable clay and an air filtration system to keep our studio staff safe from harmful particulates.
