Donor Recognition

Ceramic Tile Mural

The mural recognizes donors to The Campaign for Archmere Academy, the biggest campaign in school history.

The creative donor wall was inspired by the origin of the school name: A view of the Delaware River through an arch shaped break in the trees.

Located in the school’s main entry, our project features a 9′ high by 36′ wide ceramic tile mural of the trees on campus, with the focal point on the arch in the center. Highest giving levels were recognized in the water with sand blasted tiles.

Prepared with a design of the donor wall, the Development Department had visual aid for donor visits.

Proposed Donor Wall Design – Archmere

The design added a “WOW” factor to the case statement, and all print-related campaign information. It was put on their website, in their newsletters and a water color was displayed on an easel in the lobby.

Accordingly they raised more funds using the design tools.

The border tile imagery of laurel comes from a motif in the Tiffany glass ceiling adorning the historic landmark Patio Building on the campus.

The laurel ceramic tiles frame the text panels of laminated digital print mounted to acrylic, recognizing other levels of giving.

Laurel, an evergreen, symbolizes triumph and victory, a tradition embraced by Christianity.
