We believe that donor recognition needs to be personal – to reflect the reason why these specific people give to a specific cause.

We delve deeply into our clients’ history and culture to create artwork that becomes a visual mission statement. In turn, this sparks an emotional connection between the donor and the organization. This connection inspires and motivates giving – whether it is an increased gift or a brand new donor. People literally stop, look and ask, “How can I get on the wall?”

The mural is structured around five arched “windows”  representing the school’s five Xaverian values – each depicting an aspect of school life associated with that value. Choosing the imagery for each value sparked a collaborative dialogue with our clients about the school’s core identity  – past, present and future. The surrounding landscape imagery represents the procession of seasons from Spring to Fall, indicative of growth and life. The cherry tree in the far left panel, reminiscent of a tree located in the courtyard of the original school building, became the secondary theme of the campaign.

We began working with Good Counsel about 4 years ago. By starting the design process in tandem with their campaign’s strategic planning, our client was able to use the design in their campaign literature.

Our design functioned as an important tool to help define the campaign and its importance, as well as to motivate giving. The imagery, so familiar to those who know and love the school, spoke to the heart – to why people care about Good Counsel.
