The naming tiles were very popular.  After people saw the samples we had several individuals increase their donations to our capital campaign so they could have a tile. They have been incredibly durable, as well, given they are all over a very busy school building!

Thank you for working with us to create not only a beautiful work of art, but a staff retreat filled with learning, connections and fun.Your staff helped us – even those of us not artistically inclined – to create something we all are proud to display in our synagogue.

The design and donor wall functioned as a “motivational wall”, inspiring alumni and friends of the school to contribute to the biggest campaign in the school’s history.

Karen is a wonderful, gifted artist…she is a fundraiser’s artist. She understands the fundraising process.  Over the course of the project, she served as an extra advisor to the development office; working with the staff to leverage giving opportunities through the donor wall.

Steve Titlebaum
Director of Philanthropy , Capital Caring
Simply put, Karen understands the culture of our school and has captured our history & traditions in her work. Having someone who takes the time to explore what the client wants and interjecting her expert direction at the right moments is a key ingredient to a healthy working relationship.

Tom Mallon
Director of Development, Archmere Academy
Fine-tuned to our institution and its capital campaign, her design encouraged new leadership level donors.  A new parent looked at the mural and said, “I want my name on a stone!” Karen allowed for growth, so there were blank stones to accommodate this donor’s wish.

Sally Orr
Assistant Director of Advancement , Academy of Notre Dame de Namur

Every time I bring a visitor through our building, they are transfixed by the mural. They are drawn to the textures, colors and imagery, and compelled to touch it and spend time in front of it. The mural represents our institution’s mission in a way I could never express in words.

Mindy Rosengarten
Director of Development, Kulanu Kids
The donor wall is one of the most attractive I’ve seen.  And I’ve seen plenty.

Having the recognition program in place before solicitation really helped to sell our program. We raised $18.5 million and every single naming opportunity was taken for a new ER.

Samuel D. Caldwell
President of The Planned Giving Company, and Former Director of Advancement at Wilmington Friends School
Karen was extremely helpful in developing the tools that enabled our prospective donors to visualize the magnetism of the wall and their prominence on it. We were able to market the beauty and legacy attributes associated with being listed on our donor wall, resulting in higher numbers and levels of gifts.

Jane Armbruster
Vice President of Development, University at Buffalo School of Management

Karen Singer was thoughtful, collaborative and produced a work that will have lasting meaning and value 100 years from now.  It’s a challenge to strike all the right notes, but working with someone with Karen’s sensitivity, talent and knowledge contributes invaluably to gratifying results.

Karen A. Loder

Working with Karen Singer is like eating potato chips. You can’t work with her once without wanting to include her in your planning process for every fundraising campaign. Her creative process is addictive!

We greatly appreciated your willingness to think outside the box and work with us to create a truly unique piece of donor recognition that acknowledges our supporters but also serves as a wonderful piece of art in our lobby.

Michael Norris

The results were beyond what I anticipated going into the project and I am absolutely delighted to see how the hospital incorporated art into the building in a way that will touch the lives of patients, staff, and visitors for decades to come.

Our tile art fits perfectly in the space, enhances the decor chosen by our consultants, and recognizes our donors in a way that makes them proud to be a donor. People comment about the beauty and attractiveness of our recognition program. They ask what it takes to have a plaque with their names.

Linda Felt
Vice President of Development, Doylestown Hospital
Although our project was small, Karen never minimized its importance and need for detailed attention.

S. Carolyn M. Dimick, IHM

I never would have thought of the idea, Karen Singer suggested we illustrate our history in ceramic. It was a very creative idea and the result was stunning.

The first time I looked through Karen’s portfolio I knew we had found a gifted artist who could help us make our donor appreciation wall one that people would never tire of looking at.
