Donor Wall – Doylestown Hospital Emergency Room

Donor Wall – “River Reverie”

River Reverie is the donor wall for the hospital’s state-of-the-art Emergency Department.

“Flow” was the organizing principle behind the design of the entire emergency facility. The imagery of the river is the perfect visualization of flow. Top donor names were sandblasted into the river rocks.

In addition to ”River Reverie” the ceramic tile donor wall, more than 90 area and room plaques were installed. These plaques visually connect the entire ER, extending the feeling of flow and calmness.

The hospital is located in Doylestown, County seat of Pennsylvania’s scenic Bucks County. The Delaware River, Bucks County’s eastern boundary, and its surrounding landscape are depicted in the mural.
