Donor Wall
This ceramic tile donor wall was commissioned by Kulanu, a Jewish organization providing educational and social services to all people with disabilities. Their mission involves connecting these frequently marginalized people with the entire community. Kulanu is a Hebrew word translated to mean “All of Us”, which aptly describes the mission of this Jewish organization under Orthodox auspices that is open to all people with disabilities
The mural depicts a stylized compilation of the Five Towns” (communities on the South Shore of Long Island). The buildings in the background depict local landmarks – the neighborhood park, the firehouse, prominent synagogues, and the Kulanu building. The silhouetted figures, adapted from Kulanu’s logo, are intended to represent this spirit of inclusiveness.
Location: Cedarhurst, NY

A series of room-naming plaques hang throughout the facility.

The gift panel below was commissioned to honor the Scharf family, donors and board members extraordinaire. The Scharfs have not only reached out to Kulanu but to communities all over the world to aid and promote Jewish and personal causes.
